Logistics details for the upcoming Monster Light Show can be found here. Leave a comment / contact us if you have questions.

Early bird folks can start arriving at Spaceship Wraps around 5PM. Arrival at the Frederick Airport will be around 6PM for those going direct to the airport.

The light show Grand Finale should be started at 7:30PM. This means once you arrive at the airport, it's time to start getting your car placed where it needs to go. Volunteers will help guide you.

Everyone will enter through an open gate before the main entrance -- you will NOT need to drive all the way to the airport parking area (we'd overwhelm that anyway).

The arrangement will be finalized based on the number of Teslas that have registered on the Events page linked above. Folks who show up but did not register will be fit in where we can them in. We have passed the 100 sign-up mark.

As this is a custom lightshow, make sure your car can actually do them (meaning, if you have a Model S or X before 2021, or a Roadster, it can't) if you wish to participate in the actual light show. If you've never done a custom light show before, please review this YouTube video. Everyone is welcome to attend to enjoy the fun and socialize, and even help out.

There will be no food officially provided, so please take care of that yourselves. There is a place across the street from the airport, The Garage, which is recommended. Might be some bulk pizza delivery order too depending on the circumstances.

You will be given a USB drive when you arrive with the custom song (which Simon, the author of all of these light shows, will create before he flies out from the UK; yes, he is the VIP who will be here). This is a gift to you. Donations are welcome of course.

We ask that everyone stand by their cars during the setup phase so we can quickly get the light show scheduled. Instructions will be provided, but it would be a good idea to familiarize yourself with how to do a scheduled lightshow before the 18th.

Once the word is given to schedule the lightshow for the specified time, make sure you re-select Dance Moves if that is part of the instructions because once you schedule time, that gets unchecked. Then close your Tesla and clear out. Do NOT open any doors, frunk, or trunk until after the show. That means get whatever you need (jacket, coat?) out of the car beforehand.

No one can be in the car for a light show either, so if it's cold, please don't stay there to keep warm. Ref. comment about jacket or coat.

Also, there will be one port-a-potty nearby, and the airport proper has rest rooms but that's a long walk.

If you are going to arrive after 6:30 PM, we will open the gate on Bucheimer Road to let you in that way. You will not be able to drive through the airport on your own, and we will have to figure out where to put your car as we’ll have the positioning of the cars well underway by then. Please look for signs and volunteers.
