Updates for the E-Volution Expo will be posted here. Feel free to subscribe to this topic to get updates, although registered attendees will also get any announcements worthy of an email.
Given that we're supporting this event, it should be clearly noted that you do NOT have to be a TOCMD Club member to register for the event, but by being a paid Club member you do get a registration discount code displayed on this site’s home page when you log in. And because this is not our event, you MUST register on the E-Volution Expo site if you wish to attend the exposition itself. It's got a whole lot of cool events in there, around health, sustainability, and technology. Smart homes, flying cars, health screenings, EVs, and so on. Check out their website!
You do not need to register for the E-Volution Expo to participate in the lightshow, but you do need to register for that on our website. Note that light show attendees who did not register for the exposition on the Expo website won't have VIP Parking access, and will need to come in a different way for light show setup.
Tiff and I will still be there but the cybertruck will not. It has a blown HV fuse right now.

As a general guideline for where to go on Saturday, here's an image that highlights how you'd enter the convention center parking lot, where the registration will be, and where you'll park for staging depending on whether you have an Expo ticket or not. It also shows where the light show will be held (and mentions that vehicles will all be facing Coastal Highway). Also note that one additional perk for registering for the Expo using the discount code you've received is we are giving away one Havnby Model Y mattress worth $400 to a randomly drawn Expo badged attendee!
We're one week away from the E-Volution Expo! It's not too late to get an Expo ticket (their website gives you links to discount hotels; members have the discount code displayed on the website home page), OR register for the Light Show (which also gives you a discount code in the confirmation email)! You don't need to attend the Expo to participate in the Light Show, but you do get VIP parking with Expo attendance making it easier that night.
We are also looking for volunteers to help with the Light Show logistics (directing people to park and to leave, as the parking lot lights will be off during this event so we will have to guide every car in and out; setting up any cones / tape; handing out USBs; helping people set up the light show; perhaps even handling registration questions) and to man the inside booth of the Expo Saturday and Sunday (with setup and teardown options as well). People who sign up for the Light Show will get an E-Volution Expo Discount Code for registering for the Expo itself. While you don't have to do so to participate in the Light Show, it's a pretty cool Expo so we highly recommend you check it out. For those who already registered for the light show and aren't TOCMD members and want that code, let me know and I will send it to you.
