Have anyone received Maryland EV tax credit $3000 yet? And does it credit to your year end tax return?
Per https://mva.maryland.gov/vehicles/Pages/27300-71T.aspx , it takes 8-10 weeks to receive after you submit, pending funding availabiity. It's not like the Inflation Reduction Act tax rebate that would apply to next year's taxes, this is a tax credit.
I received my $3,000 Maryland check a couple of days ago. I submitted the paperwork without the title number on December 22, 2023, and then received the check 73 days later.
A neighbor of mine, who purchased his Y before me, and submitted his MD paperwork before me, had to email Maryland only to find out that they couldn't read his original submission. He still hasn't gotten his check even though I've got mine.
