The Tesla Owners Club of Maryland Second Annual Holiday Party was held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, once again hosted by Tesla at the Rockville location. Also once again, Capital Wrappers paid for the catering provided by Mission BBQ. Many thanks to those three companies for helping make this event another great success.

Even better, Tesla moved the CyberTruck from its location in Montgomery Mall over to Rockville just for the party, which was much appreciated.

Spaces ran out with the Public membership tier announcement, which is something we expect to happen going forward, so if you do wish to attend future holiday parties, be sure to sign up as a Member (higher tiers get invited first). We had 101 registered attendees not including kids or the Tesla Test Drive guests. Lots and lots of photos and videos were taken, available in the slideshow below. The Club members voted, and this was the top selection for a Tesla Tuesday meet and greet. Turnout was great, and everyone had a good time.

Tesla Owners Club of Maryland was happy to support the Frunk or Treat event in Clarksville again. The weather was pretty unusual for the end of October, approaching 80 degrees and sunny (which melted some candy as well as humans in costume), but a good number of kids came out as well.

There was also another Frunk or Treat event that just started up, in Silver Spring MD, right after the Clarksville event. A few of us were able to support that as well.

The weather greatly improved for supporting the 2023 National Drive Electric Week event in Clarksville, and the Tesla Owners Club of Maryland was well represented. Check out the photo library below.

This year’s National Drive Electric Week event in Poolesville was … weather challenged. Had a tropical storm stop by, which made for a windy, rainy, chilly day. The event went on, but shut down by noon, as there were very few folks willing to brave those weather conditions.

Quack quack quack thanks to Mark Czajka and Katie Warner and all the other volunteers quack quack quack

Lots of Tesla owners from the Tesla Owners Club of Maryland and related Facebook groups including Tesla Owners Southern Maryland converged in Leonardtown on Sunday August 8 to see the World’s Largest Rubber Duck during Wharf Fest. We had our own reserved parking and even got a special deal at Kneaded Bakery.

And then there was the duck. It was Big, as proven by the photo gallery below.

The Tesla Owners Club of Maryland had their Ice Cream Sundae event at Ann’s Dari Creme in Glen Burnie. The rain held off and the turnout was pretty good, even if their credit card reader was down. See below for the shared photos.

The July 2023 gathering at True Respite had a turnout that was possibly a record-breaker. Many new faces, many old faces, all smiling and having a great time. There was even a coordinated light show when the sun went down. And an excellent cake.
