While we encourage members to reference official Tesla documentation for vehicle-specific guidance, this page is intended to share practical, community-driven information and help you better understand how our club works.
If something isn’t covered here or needs clarification, we welcome feedback and questions — this page evolves as our community grows.
Membership
Yes, you can change your membership level at any time by going to the Change Your Membership Level page while logged in and change your level. Note, however, that we do not do any refund or prorating of the price difference between old and new levels.
Also keep in mind that the page referenced above is the same page that handles membership renewals, at which point you can certainly change your level by yourself if you don’t have auto-renew enabled.

Please be aware that the Public role is free, but still requires you to register with us so we have a way to confirm you own a Tesla.
As to why you should have to pay for them, keep in mind that some of the perks have an actual cost to the club so we will need membership dues to help pay for them. We are registered as a non-profit organization and are working on a 501.c(7) charitable organization designation as well. If you don’t want to pay anything, nothing changes for you, really.
