A little over 24 hours to go! We are still on for this event as it’s rain or shine.

The forecast looks like it may very well be a little bit wet tomorrow, so prepare accordingly. Hopefully the rain will stop by the time people start showing up, let alone when show starts.

Volunteers will direct you where to park when you arrive, then head to the registration tent to get signed in.

Prospect Point Brewing will have drinks, and there’s also the Sabor de Cuba food truck.

There will also be some merchandise available to purchase, but you must be a paid (Chill or above) Club member. The purchase will be through our website; a link to the payment page is on your home page after you log in to your Chill or above membership.

And, if one of you happen to be bringing a Signature Model S or X, please let me know by replying to this forum post.

Plans are congealing! More details will still follow, but for now, when you arrive at the location, follow the signs in, park your car where the volunteers direct you, then come back to the registration desk to get your QR code scanned and your USB thumb drive with the appropriate Light Show on it, depending on your vehicle type.

The notional schedule is as follows, which may be updated between now and then:

Before 6PM: Early arrivals park where volunteers ask them to; the light show locations may not be ready yet

Between 6PM and 7PM: Arrive, park, register! Food & drink & socializing as desired.

Around 7PM: Welcome & Announcements by the registration tent

Around 7:15PM: Light Show instructions and demonstration, if needed

Around 7:30PM: Drone operator coordination meeting and any other last minute logistics announcements

Around 9PM: Showtime! Might need or want to repeat once or twice.

Between 9:30 and 10PM: Safely depart

The important part there is we want to start the light show around 9PM. Vehicles arriving after 8PM may be asked to sit the show out depending on where parking logistics stand.

We're looking forward to seeing you at the light show on Saturday June *27* at Prospect Point Brewing! Everyone should have received their QR code in the registration email (except the one person who signed up before that feature was turned on) or in the matching email I will be sending later today.

Since the event is being held at a brewery, we want to share a quick, friendly reminder: please plan to enjoy the evening responsibly. Coordinating a synchronized light show means a lot of vehicles moving in close quarters, so everyone's full attention behind the wheel keeps the event safe and fun for all of us.

In the interest of safety, any participant who a TOCMD officer or volunteer feels is not in a condition to drive safely will be asked to sit this one out and enjoy the show from the sidelines. We trust everyone to use good judgment, and we appreciate your help in keeping the event a great experience for the whole club.

More details on logistics to follow.

See you there!

Yes, I can be an idiot sometimes. Saturday June 27 is the date, not June 28, which is a Sunday.
