Hi all, I am looking for a newer version CSS to NACS adaptor that works with cybertruck to borrow for an upcoming road trip in late June. Only need it for about 1.5 weeks. I am traveling through eastern lower Michigan (north of Saginaw Bay) where there are no Superchargers so I may have to use a CCS charger. I have never in my 8 years as a Tesla owner needed to CCS charge so I am just looking to borrow an adapter just incase. Don't need to buy one just for this one road trip. @michael-matthews No problem, I think Tesla updated it to work with all models late last year or earlier this year. The owners manual for the one on the Tesla shop now says it was published in November of 2025.
@maxmetl Hm. This was purchased back in 2024, so it may not be the right one. I’m in northern Silver Spring so we can probably see if this’ll fit some weekend or something. But, based on what I’ve found, this almost assuredly won’t work. Sorry, didn’t realize there was a CT-specific adapter required.
@michael-matthews Hi Michael! I won't be at Tesla Tuesday this week because I have to work evening shift. Most Tuesdays actually don't work for me because I am a cycling coach and our team practices on Tuesdays. Is this the newer generation CCS adapter that will work for CT? I know the earlier versions only worked for S/X/3/Y. I read that the newer one has a longer port that will reach past the CT fender. If this works with CT, I'd love to borrow it just for potential use on our trip in June. Might not need it but figured it would be great to have just in case. I live in Montgomery Village if you happen to live out this way or I work in the College Park area if we can meet up at some point. I don't need this until mid-June. Thanks!
I have one of those that I can lend out, assuming you’re referring to the one you get from the Tesla Shop. Only used it once to make sure it worked. You going to be at Cushwa tomorrow for Tesla Tuesday?
